We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Math Tutor to join our team in Bothell, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and helping students succeed in mathematics. The Math Tutor will be responsible for providing one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in the comfort of their own home, focusing on improving their understanding of various math concepts and skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students in math, focusing on areas of difficulty and providing personalized instruction.
• Create individualized lesson plans and learning materials tailored to each student's needs and learning style.
• Help students develop problem-solving strategies, critical thinking skills, and confidence in their math abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians on a regular basis.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other team members to ensure a positive tutoring experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience, particularly in math, is preferred.
• Strong math skills and a solid understanding of various math concepts, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Reliable transportation (vehicle) to travel to students' homes for tutoring sessions.
• Must pass a background check.
